About the event

We’re delighted to host Vasiliki Katsarou this month in honor of Poetry Month! Vasiliki will read from The Second Home, and also share her insights on working with poetry and visual art together.

Vasiliki Katsarou is the publisher of Solitude Hill Press, and the author of three poetry collections, Memento TsunamiThree Sea Stones, and 2024’s The Second Home (Finishing Line Press). Her award-winning 35mm short film Fruitlands 1843 was screened at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Harvard Film Archive, and the Drama International Film Festival in Greece, and in 2024, at the Newtown Theatre in Bucks County.

She has been a Teaching Artist at Hunterdon Art Museum, and collaborated with many local arts organizations including the Dodge Poetry Festival, Hopewell Theater, and ArtYard. Upcoming art and poetry collaborations include an artist book project with the Steamroller Group, and The Mina Loy Project, a multimedia work at ArtWRKD.
