Story time with Lisa Tucker!

Local author Lisa Michelle Tucker from Whitehouse Station, New Jersey and Professor of English at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, New Jersey will give a reading of her debut children’s picture book Chessie Dentley, Student of the Month. This book, set in the 1940s, is a story about a girl named Chessie Dentley who recognizes inadequacies in her school curriculum but who settles for nothing short of excellence.  This book reinforces the importance of setting goals, maintaining goals despite setbacks, and striving for excellence for all. This book is written for ages 8-12.
