Free Summer Writing Salon

Calling all writers! Hopefully, you’ve been enjoying long slow summer days here and there, maybe reading on your porch, relishing the sight of fireflies and the sounds of NJ summers.  If you are looking for a place to write, come join us at Howling Basset Books for a night of creativity and community. 

The program will begin with introductions, a literary meditation followed by a writing prompt. In the final portion of the salon, you can choose to share what you wrote (optional) with feedback.  It’s not a critique format. It’s the perfect opportunity to reconnect, gather fuel for your current writing project or hatch plans for a new one in a supportive environment.  You can also get a taste of our ongoing workshop series at Howling Basset on Tuesdays beginning in September--and, if so inspired, sign up!  Hope to see you…
