About the event
Crafts, Brews & Books is a new craft-focused book club hosted at Odd Bird Brewing in Stockton, NJ, in collaboration with Howling Basset Books. The group meets every six weeks on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm at Odd Bird Brewing in Stockton. Each gathering features a book-inspired art activity led by artist Allison Farrell, paired with craft beer sipping.
For the first Crafts, Brews & Books gathering we selected the book The Binding by Bridget Collins.
Participants will create marlbled paper to use as the cover for a handbound notebook.
The Binding is a lush historical fantasy set in a world where memories can be removed and stored in books. When Emmett Farmer becomes apprenticed to a mysterious bookbinder, he uncovers a dark secret tied to his own past and a forbidden connection that could change everything.
