This workshop will launch your art practice and restore your motivation - students will be guided through a sequence of exercises to focus your attention on finding the creative voice that lives within each of us. This workshop introduces the practice of mindfulness into the everyday making of art. Our positive focus is on a playful engagement with simple materials. Bring a blank art journal and any supplies that you are comfortable with; materials that lift your spirit and put you at ease, as simple as a pencil or box of crayons. We will be making art in a variety of mediums, including but not limited to drawing, painting and simple collage. You will leave with a solid start in your art…
